My switch has three settings- fully open, closed, stock settings (for Sport mode operation). It is a fantastic upgrade and I use it all the time.

When did you purchase your carnewal switch. Mine does not have 3 settings. Just full open and full closed. They also told me that by adding it there no longer would be the stock setting.

It's not like I need the stock setting though, while you can say some low end may be lost due to the valve not being closed under 3500 rpms, if you are driving under 3500 rpms you aren't really needing power anyways.

I sent Gert an email in this and here is his response:

On Jan 4, 2015, at 1:32 AM, Gert Carnewal <gert@carnewal.com> wrote:

Hi Mike,

I have emailed you the instructions.
The remote has 2 buttons : One is open, the other is closed.
The function where the DME take control is disabled.
Don't hesitate to contact me for further information.
Thanks,
Gert.

I then asked if we can do something custom and the answer:

Subject: RE: Order

Hi Mike,

There are only 2 settings possible :

Loud all the time
Or
Normal setting (sport button/DME)

Thanks,
Gert.

So I have my custom PSE controller on the way, ie stock or loud.

Basically when you order off website you get fully open/fully closed version.

You can custom order a fully open/stock DME control (sport button) version. This is what i ordered the second time around.
