Default 7.2 GT3RS SharkWerks, Evoms, and Forgeline

Have not posted this here before but with not much to do today I thought I would post up some pics for 2015.

This spent some time with Bob at AutoConcierge for the full monty and new clear bra. Afterwords it worked its way over to Alex and crew at Sharkwerks for some Evoms/Sharkwerks headers, bypass, and tips, them moved on to the ecu with EvomsIt software. The sound is amazing and this combination makes for a whole new experience!

Also went with a new set of Forgelines which saves atleast 5lbs per corner over stock...

You can find more pics on Instagram @bayarea.rs

Very nice! Did you dyno the car with the tune + headers?

Nice. Welcome to the evoms header club. I think that makes 3 of us in the Bay Area now. If you want to pump the sound up even more, run it unplugged or get the carnewal switch that allows u to control the valves independently and run it full open.

I been through the whole dyno every mod, tune, retune, tune again with a 1200rwhp supra. So no dyno for me on the RS, do not feel the need for it.

I have the carnewal switch have debating on putting it on. Can you answer this for me, do the valves open and like just like stock at anytime with the switch installed? Or does does the switch make the valves either open or closed only?

Ps, doing this on my phone and cannot figure out how to multiquote

Mike, congrats on the car! Looks awesome. This is Carlo from supra forums (balticmkiv). I also just recently purchased a .2 GT3 and am waiting on transport from the midwest. Super excited!

The switch makes the valves full open or completely closed only. No more closed at low rpm and then opening like how the sport button makes it.

So there is no stock mode with the switch? I would think the powerband benefits from more/less backpressure created at certain times, or is my thinking flawed?

Carlo, I sold the Supra 5-6 years ago but I also had a 997tt EVT775 at the same time, even though the Supra was a rocket above 5krpm, the 997tt had so much more low end torque and overall made the Supra feel like truck. With all the money sunk into it I was lucky to pull $60k+ back out of it. Congrats on the GT3, pm me when you get it.

It's really nice to see more ex-Supra owners finding their way into these amazing cars.
