Default GT3 is gone...

After 3 years of proud ownership I had the itch to buy something else.
It was a close battle between a GT3 MK2 and a R8 but in the end the R8 won.
I found a car with very rare recaro sport seats, full carbon and of course a manual.
Only did a few km with the car but I really really like it.
The engine is superb with a smooth transmission.

I'm sure I will be back

Ugh on the Cinq Cents white label. Put the Chimay away altogether and go with Rochefort 8 or 10.

Congrats. I went from an R8 V10 to the GT3...

The R8 is an absolutely phenomenal machine. Swiss watch of sports cars IMHO.

Congrats on the R8. Hope it continues to roll your socks up.

Anyone know how to get local German beer that hasn't been ruined with the import processing requirements?

Fly to Chicago and take a five min, (if that,) taxi ride to the Hofbrau Haus. Drink all you want. Prost.

You'll get bored of the R8, imo.

Had a chance to buy my partners R8 V10 manual- great car, all around sports car. But in the end I chose to order a new GT3. I think if your choice was a 997.2 vs the R8, you made the right choice. Not a ton of difference in everyday use with a .2 vs .1. You will have a whole different car now vs, just a slight change.
