If you're not interested in tune, don't be interested in 3.8L manifold,

Headers would be first before intake mods... otherwise car is still corked and unlikely to see much benefit.

Just more track days!

Pm me your email and I'll send you a copy of the "while my engine is out getting pipes fixed" list. :-)
All parts are in. Work starting.

My feeling is I hate to pay for just maintenance so it makes me feel better to get some fun bits done same time.

change water pump, why do that ?
guard's - i know what happens if i head this way.
LWF- i didn't feel a difference on turbo- thought it was biggest 3k i regret on that.

how'd your water pump look? mine was pretty much perfect inside, no scale, no play/wear, but replaced it anyway along with thermostat and several other goodies. this is most of the rubber. all the clamps got replaced too. Rubber was in decent shape but the clamps were beginning to cut into a few hoses pretty bad.

My 'while in there list' was a bit longer though :-)

wow that + your long list you pm me..

my water pump was had a hint of a leak, but perfect inside / no play but decided to change now vs later. I'm not sure of the hoses that are getting replaced yet, told dealer to replace whatever looked like it needed attention- whiz knowing them they might replace the whole motor ?

the L shape oil lines that are plastic and are replaced by the sharwerks were slightly leaking a bit so a good call getting those.

About to pin my coolant lines. Think even GM would do a recall on this one. Rassn Frassn Porsche.

Thinking about RSS Tarmac Series Performance Engine Mounts while motor is out. Anyone done this who can speak to differences (good and bad)?

Thx!
