There’s an informal gathering of Porsche and car enthusiasts pretty much every Sunday at the Issaquah Cafe. We get there prior to opening at 7 and park at the west end of the parking lot in front of the Dough Zone. It’s not a huge event, usually 4 to 6 regulars show up but sometimes we’ll have more. It’s not exclusive, anyone is welcome to show up rain or sine. Typically the Porsche’s are brought out on the nice days, the daily drivers on the not so nice days…..
“Garbage” is mine…. One of our Sunday b’fast attendees was a well known Porsche IMSA competitor named Bruce Leven who owned a garbage company (and his team was Bayside Disposal Racing). One of his many cool cars was a black 930 slant nose turbo sporting that license plate. After he passed away I saw that it was available and wanted to keep it on a Porsche in his honor. As an aside, his stable included a black 997.2 GT3RS and prior to that he had a 997.1 GT3RS.
For good measure couple of pics with new to me RS decklid/wing (aka 997GT3 Clubsport-ish) and CF mirror housings and a 996 brother. Both vehicles still see track time. #notaco
