Just Sunday....got work on Saturday. I'll drive up from home in the morning. Looks like there will only be 2 run groups with 20-minute sessions. That means a lot of track time. 
I think there are only 12-13 people signed up on Sunday for the open group so I might do some nannies-off practice.

I'm at Chuckwalla; Well the nearest hotel to the track (Indio 50 miles!)
Provisions are fully re iced and re stocked.
Its 105F here, it was 55F this AM in SFO..
Maybe I can plug in the AC's into the generators tomorrow, we will see.
Not a bad ride; left at around 5:30AM and arrived around 1:45PM non stop including losing 30 mins on the freeway standing still due to an accident.
The truck was ready to go this morning, car strapped in(fully checked out, nut and bolted and cleaned again), all systems go.
Desert hours, another early morning tomorrow AM:
Gates open @ 6:00 am
Mandatory Driver's Meeting @ 7:15 am
Track Goes Hot @ 8:00 am
Track Direction is Clockwise - 2 Run Groups Star Car & Academy are planned (this is subject to change)
Track Day will end between 3:30 and 4:30 pm depending on temperatures.
That should get us halfway to Thunderhill on Sunday

Micky Grana runs the track and will probably do the drivers meeting. Super cool guy and he knows every secret line on that track. He will be happy to educate you if you can grab him for 5 mins.

Weather will be perfect until 11am or so. Then HOT. Stay hydrated. Hope the winds don't pickup too bad, last time out there USC nearly took out a tumble weed size of a VW bug. Oh and watch out for desert critters in the morning. There were a few road kill on the track last time after first runs. (desert squirrels or something)
