I don't see how it can, if they plan to release the car within the next 12-18 months, nor can I imagine what the motivation would be. They will sell every RS they build with PDK-S on it.

I really really doubt it, it makes no economic sense for Porsche to re-engineer a different transmission for the new GT3 motor when market research told them they will sell more PDK than manual. If it did becomes a reality, I'm afraid it might be a case of the 6 speed manual on the last M5, which made the car worse rather than better.
