Default the rubber flap that hangs down in front of the rear tires

sorry for this newbie question. what the heck is this part called? i tried searching for mud flap, fender guard, etc.

there's one on in front of the front wheels but they tend to disappear rather quickly!

I've replaced both fronts and rears. They decide at some point that they would be better off solo, without my car. I just hope they're doing well wherever they are.

hi there. do you know the part # for the front piece?? if not where did you buy them?

I do, but all of the paperwork is at home. I will get that to you later today.

That same piece on my 996 is called a "Side Panel Trim".

no kidding. no mention of missing the one on the pre AND post purchase inspection. I just noticed after cleaning the right side that i didn't have one on the left side!

These things get scraped up and find their own way off of the car pretty fast. Not sure how useful they actually are...

I had a rear one that was broken. The attached metal clip had broken away from the plastic. They are only about $60-70 at Suncoast.

Ok, so the little plastic flaps in front of the front wheels are:

997-504-303-90
997-504-304-90

I got them at my local dealership and paid 30.70 for each of them.

these are for the .2 BTW.

The front ones are to deflect wind around the tires.
