Lol. 195-200k range easily if sold by Byers.

Nothing I've seen since buying my car in May of this year has lessened these thoughts...but always curious what someone actually in the industry of buying/selling them thinks.
I was trying to get a feel for his spread, on the other car, thinking maybe this is just a guy who asks high values, and then accepts big hits. He volunteered numbers that made me feel otherwise (<10%, on the one we spoke about). He said he "didn't use books", which is pretty obvious. His high asks are going to attract more cars. If he weren't turning a few, I guess we'd think he was nuts.

I still have my "End of an Era" Autoweek cover.

Merely an observation, as I don't have any way to know the real score, but I would guess that Byers has sold nearly half of all RS cars sold by Porsche dealers in the US this year. Even if I'm a bit high in this guess, it is a major percentage. They obviously specialize and have many of the finest ones, so they must know what they're doing over there.
