you cant beat the revs and sound of the GT3. It is an experience. Forget about a carrera.

Why have smack when you can have crack?

Based on what you wrote, I'd say get a Turbo until you're ready for the GT3. For the price of a GTS you could get an 07-08 TT easily. There's a really nice one for sale on 6speed with a full 997.2 conversion!!

Yes. On the center console near the E-Brake

To have similar thrill on 997.1 TT as gt3s... What do we need to change? I'm not talking about making TT to function like a gt3 but some simple swap mods.. Ecu/euro pipe exhaust simple alone can bring some sound and vitality of the engine? Suspension is a soft on tt compared to gt3.. Perhaps some guys can just do spring upgrades rather than haul out to change the whole suspension?

Open up the exhaust.
Install GT3 uprights.
Remove rear seats.

Nice 911, but still a different animal in comparo to GT3.

There is a reason why the GT3 has a cult like following.

My local shop has a 997 TurboS that I've ridden in that has Ohlins, all the monoball suspension bits, balance, alignment, full exhaust, tune, roll bar, the good bucket seats, aero, etc. Done well and not over the top. Car was crazy fast, but didn't have that feel of the GT3, the sound good, but not gt3, felt heavy-ish, more insulated. So while it was closer to the gt cars, it wasn't. It WAS definitely a more livable daily driver and would haul on a track for sure. Just a different beast.

Started my search for a GTS. Have a couple of leads. Anyone in the Detroit/Birmingham, MI area that would be willing to stop by Fred Lavery and check out a car for me?
