How do AMG hold their value nowadays? Not trying to cause an argument just asking as before I know they would plummet very quickly. And by no doubts is their wagon a great car, but I guess to each their own, a wagon isn't for everyone. I like the idea of have your sports car for fun, have a nice SUV for all the other stuff, but that's just me.

I did consider a pepper gts...but i am just not a fan of SUV. For me not much fun to drive, and a wagon can do almost what an SUV can in terms of functionality.

The ideas here are very informative, thank you all and keep em coming.

I dont like the looks is te bottom line. Also, although i have heard it is a monster off the line, i have also heard handling characteristics are meh. But that's only what I've heard. I have no personal experience.

And that prize is now being handed over to BMW. The F10 M cars are a massive disappointment. I've been lucky to drive a couple different variants (my dealer is trying to get me to buy one). Fast in a straight line, 5000lbs...steering is worse than our Odyssey. They are what AMG cars were 10 years ago. Have not driven the E63...but Pobst thinks they rock compared to the Ms.

To each their own, I think the m5 is too close to a regular 5 series and lacks character. And I'm def not a fan of wagons lol. Nowadays so many options, but not very many good choices. Everything is a compromise

This is a difficult one for me. Im not a huge fan of the wagon, but the 2012 E63 is a great car overall. I detest the new E class styling, I think it was botched completely. The M5 looks so much better, but the steering isnt up to part with the E63. Not sure how the new AWD version will feel so I suggest driving them back to back.
