There's no wrong answer, its your car. Copy elements and spice it up or go your own way and do your own thing...

That is a great color. It looks deeper and darker than Dolphin Grey. The recent special edition 911 with center stripes is close to this, but I don't recall the color.
Superquant, you might want to look at a color called Man from Chile also. It has similar characteristics to what you are gravitating towards. Champion built a customized turbo in this color and it looked fantastic.
It looks like there will be about 50 people co-building this car with you !

And here, more grays. All a bit dreary and a affectation, in my humble, a bit too much "this car is soo cool, I can paint it in a horrid color and it's still cool" but I'll make the exception that when it's a car recreating a period in time, it's a more valid work.

Color is a very objective thing and what looks great to one person looks not-so-great to someone else. At the end of the day, having chosen the perfect color that you like is one of things that on a rainy day, makes you want to go out to the garage and gaze longingly at the Porsche of your dreams.
With that said, in my humble opinion, the lighter, colorless grays look just like clearcoated primer.![ducking](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon107.gif)
(I'm not referring to the darker gray '73 RSR. That one looks killer.)

This graphite grey could be more flavorful and yet in character. Also turns out to be the color available on the 50th anniv 911 edition although the new one looks darker.

I went through all of this when I tried to do PTS on my 4.0. I found myself torn between the brighter 70s vintage colors and various non metallic greys and blues. Signal is a great color. So is Viper Green and Orange. The shot of the 74s sitting on that trailer are a great palette to ponder.

Fly Yellow is also a stunning color on a purposeful car (eg. 993 RS in a field of sunflowers) and it's a Ferrari color, patented by them. Our downstairs kitchen is painted in automotive paint and clear coat to Ferrari spec by Snaidero. Looks great. One day when my wife is not looking, I'll move that kitchen into the car barn and create a man cave. One fly yellow Porsche, one Fly Yellow Ferrari. Probably 993 RS and 360 Stradale. : )
I assume you realize you have to build a garage bespoke to the Singer.

I'd say stay tamed down on the exterior Perfect color to me would be the RS above. or from post 104 since 103 is already made as a Singer. Then some sexy interior color.
