Default Kudos to GMG

Just wanted to post about the excellent customer service I received from GMG.

Last month I bought some GMG dive planes from a fellow Rennlister that had a 997.1 GT3 and purchased 997.2 GT3 parts.

Well, it turned out there was a fitment issue with one of the dive planes, it just wasn't laying flat. So although I never purchased them from GMG directly I called James and he graciously agreed to look at it to see what could be done. Long story short, he replaced the one dive plane with a perfectly fitting part, no expense to me!

James and crew, thanks for the excellent customer service. It takes real integrity to stand behind your products no matter what. It would have been easy for them to turn their back on me since I had not purchased from them directly, but they did the right thing, the honest thing, that builds a great business one customer at a time!

Great job guys, thanks again!! You have won another customer over!

No offense to you, but lets not get into this. Just because there's a few negative comments about gmg doesn't mean the bandwagoners need to assemble.

Well, my timing is what it is. I just received and tested the replacement dive plane yesterday. You are making reckless assumptions my friend.

I am simply posting my positive experience, when I receive customer service above and beyond, I believe it warrants a comment and that's what I have done.

uh...changing the subject.

I'm really glad I don't live in Syria...I am pretty sure they don't have any race tracks.

Thanks for diffusing the tension! Now, let's get to work on building some tracks in Syria. I'm pretty sure if they were racing they would be "rubbing" and not shooting each other!

Like I said, no offense meant. I'll take your word for it abou your true intentions.

I've seen things like this happen before. It spirals downhill and doesn't look good for anyone. Especially the vendor. I think gmg's reputation is pretty good and will continue to speak for itself, regardless of the issues brought up in the past few days.

Have to chime in...GMG built my .1RS(suspension, seats, rollbar, and exhaust). They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them.

They also did a great job on my R8...Fabryce and James are a pleasure to work with.

I have bought some cup car parts from James.
Been good to me each time.

I understand they have had some issues sorting out an engine build but alas that is unchartered water and which is why i can only afford a sealed motor.

Risky business messing with high dollar motors. Not something i would wish on anybody.

Who knew this thread would take this turn?

I just googled dogs in Syria.

Guys, we are lucky to be able to provide love and security for our loved ones and our dogs, not to mention playing with cars. Peace.

GMG stabilizer bars being installed tomorrow, and dog bones. I'm pretty the handling will be better as a result of the install, will post the difference.
One thing I can be sure of, the Mclaren will still faster.
