If it is a PTS 4.0, you're in the realm.

I want to see how that RWS gizmo is going to handle the g-force loads of Slicks, A6 and R1S working against an electric motor moving the rear subframe. That electric RWS gizmo motor might have a few track days of life left, or just timed-out like CL hubs.

Marketing stops at the racetrack once real drivers and some sticky tires show up. All the Lamborghinis and R8 go on Limp Mode, the Nissan GTR goes on limp mode, the Fiat cooks the brakes, newer BMW Limp mode, older BMW slooow, 991S overheats, Cayman/Boxster overheats, Viper blows engine, Vette blows more engines, MP4 goes limp, 4.0/3.8 GT3 RS engines seize, wheels depart and clutches/diff wear out. The 996 GT3 is the most solid street legal track day car (but it is ugly).

tires: OK..maybe they are 4 seconds faster in the dry...but they will collapse in the wet then..My GT2 tires are already too close to "collapse" in the rain..and I wouldnt accept something which is even more shaky in the wet

RWS gizmos: Yes..I cannot imagine this will sustain 4 hours of constant track hours..

"Marketing stops at the racetrack once real drivers and some sticky tires show up" - couldnt agree more..

Thats my quote of the day..in the end your right.I heard the same from others too..the 996 GT3 is not the fastest..but it keeps on doing its laps..and there is an old saying ion motorsport: "before you can win a race you first have to finish it"..

And yes, these pages and GT3's are very good medicine. Keeps me from losing the will to live. That's worth something.

Lets get back off topic, we need to get you on track, this was my last lap with the 4.0, its been too long and I'm starting to lose the will to live.....
FF to 4:00 You can see 2, two!!4.0's at the track.
TRAKCAR 4.0 48hours of Sebring 2:174 last session - YouTube
SC Off or SC+TC off, the car soo stable with high speed corners and i see the steering wheel movement very confident.
