You did a PPI on the 73K one?

FYI....if you post missed cars and cars you are interested in, post the links. It will help the braintrust here on RL get you better info. If you have to make us go searching the replies will dwindle

listed by dealer on a trade in; spoke to owner as he was on auto trader. I was late two weeks as my TT is pending for this Friday. Traded for 74k
The other sold was last week but no link available anymore. Dealer maintained gave me feedback on vehicle since all work was done there, and it was clean.

Oh for the love of god, what is with all that blue light and LED crap??? Looks like it has been bastardized. Are those gauge faces stickers? They look like they are bubbling. God knows what else was tinkered and screwed with on that car. I see headache in the future. Who is E-Car-One? That is who he traded it to? Not a chance in hell they get 86K for it.

The key to buying one of these cars is patience. Know what YOU want, what your budget is, and the right car will come along. Don't settle for all the "deal" crap that is out there.

The original owner was trying to sell on autotrader for months at 79k with no bites. Clean carfax. All original factory options except the mods. Ended up trading it in for 74k

Another thing to remember is that the eBay prices are rarely indicative of what the car sold for. Many times they are sold outside of eBay AFTER the auction is over.

That crap isn't going to sell for 79K. No GT3 prospective buyer is trolling eBay/Autotrader/etc looking for pimped out cars. And they sure aren't paying top dollar.

Carfax doesn't mean **** either.

Seriously, just be patient.

If not ebay or autotrader.. Where else should I look? Patience is there; just by May hopefully to squeeze in a few laps.

Pay the $20 for a membership and post a wtb. There are plenty of people who will sell.

+1. You'd be surprised how many change hands that aren't even posted for sale!

THere are always GT3's changing hands here. Have you also opened your search to include the 996GT3? Amazing car and can be had in the 50's now.

Lol, have to love those lights around the interior of the doors...on a GT3 no less. You see something new every day.

You'll need even more patience to grab a RS for 85K. If you want a great example and one that won't be sold inside of 3 minutes with cash in hand, then you'll need to up your budget to 95K.

Previous owner must have been a airplane pilot. Those led lites on door point to exit out in case of smoke inside cockpit/fire/crash etc. mike
