Like I said in the previous post. I'm not racing for now but I'm keeping the trailer. And when I bought the enclosed, I wanted to make sure it was big enough to move into..

To the OP,
You can have all the fun you can handle, all day long, in a sports car without needing to spend $100-$150K. I had just as much enjoyment autocrossing my $5K Miata....
I should have never sold that car after all the time-consuming tweaking... all of which costs less than one aftermarket Porsche exhaust. Value and cost are two different things.
That being said I think a GT3 is a much better value than a "standard" Porsche on the wrong side of supply>demmand>depreciation. Not that a GT3 isn't a mass produced car but you get the point..

Stress =
More
and track time are great stress delivers.
I did the boat/offshore fishing thingy for 25 years while family was growing up. If you think cars are expensive you haven't been into fishing. I spent more $$$ on my 35' Cabo than I have spent on all my cars and that didn't include the other 6 boats I have owned.![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

And I do believe a GT3 is insulated to a certain degree but they will go down, maybe not as quickly. It'll be interesting to see how many come up for sale (or don't) once the 991 version is on the market.

I've had 3 911's. I've been in and out of them since the mid 90's. I've sold them, try something else and then inevitably come back it seems.

Which in turn means they'll be a crapload of 991 GT3 for sale in the not too distant future as people who need an auto tranny and buy on impulse get bored with the suspension, scraping, noise, etc. Porsche is going to sell a lot of $150K cars. For the rigtht second-hand price I can live with paddles. certainly for cone-dodging.
