my best investment so far has been a car dealership. I'd love to buy 10 more but they get into the 8 figure range pretty quickly so I'll have to be patient.

getting rental properties to debt-service is an art form in itself- lots of people forget about the HOA/Tax issues and end up paying every month for some other schlub to rent their place...too many condos in most areas.

Totally agreed Dave. I may finance though b/c I need the cash for a big downpayment on a new office building construction where I'll locate my practice.

Made it. Grew up lower middle class with hard times punctuated by blocks of government cheese in the fridge.

LOL! I jumped from cars to offshore fishing a few years back. I sold my then brand new 997 GT3 so I could comfortably buy a beachhouse and boat comfortably; something the whole family could enjoy.

I remember those on this board who said I was crazy. But a few said you can always buy one again. Today is that day. Beach house paid off last week, I'm now getting back into a GT3. Aaaaaaaaiiiiiieeeeeeee!
