Also the dimpled are thicker and can't run 19mm thick pads:

Thanks to LVDell and ir_fuel for the info! Hope this helps Kormaster.

Jenner, tks for the props !
Looks nice and shinny
I went with Sharkwerks in the Bay Area; great technical advice, good guys
Brembo slots, reuse the rear pads, they will sell you modified (slightly thinned fronts), keep your noise dampners, lose the wear senders, i just zip tie mine away from the wheel, KEEP the BREMBO CONTAINERS for the fragile ceramics

Wrote the group buy coordinator also about this update: About 14 days til the 380mm items arrive; a bunch were sent overseas and thus we and the mfgr are tapped out for a short bit. Thank You all for your patience for the short term, these are well worth it :-)

Do you have the needed brake clearance with your Fikse wheels? If not we have many center options for greater brake clearance.

Just completed this same PCCB to steel conversion myself with parts from Eddie:
PFC slotted floating 380mm front rotors, PFC08 pads, wheel studs and caliper studs:

Test fitting my Fikse 18" wheels:

Don't have a picture but 350mm Turbo rotors in the rear with PFC08 pads, wheel studs, caliper studs and rear brake ducts from the .2

VERY happy with the result!

+1 for PFC rotors with PFC08 pads.
Add some RPW front duct cooling while you're at it :-)

The PF dimpled rotors are 379x34, the slotted are 378x32. There is no difference in the quality according to Performance Friction. The dimpled are sold as assemblies or you can purchase just the rotors of course when time to replace. The hats also contain shims that keep the disc from rattling when cold or during street driving. The shims can be removed. I was once able to procure the shims for a customer with slotted rotors who didn't like the clunk and rattle soundtrack on the street Performance Friction classifies them as "street performance."

Slotted are sold by themselves, with the hats being a la carte. Assembly is done by you or your shop. Since these are classified by PF as "race'' no shim kit comes with them and if you drive your car on the street they will rattle and clunk when cold.

We always have this stuff in stock and ready to ship at OG Racing. If you have any questions please contact me at your convenience.

Kind regards,

I'm opening up a thread here to get everyone's thoughts on options. Let's talk about each car:

997.2 GT3. Car will be running 18" HRE with Hoosiers. Please tell me if these replacement options (rotor and pads) are correct:
1) OEM GT3 steel front and OEM GT3 or turbo rear - PFC pad or pagid compatible
2) PFC front and OEM GT3 or Turbo rear - PFC pad compatible only
3) Girodisc front and rear - pagid compatible only
4) cup rotors?

997.2 Turbo S (centerlocks)
1) OEM turbo steel front/rear - pagid or PFC pad
2) girodisc front rear - pagid only

Boxster spyder
1) girodisc front/rear - PFC pad, endless me20, and Pagid compatible

Are these options/assumptions correct? What would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
Will you be selling the PCCB rotors?

Kind regards,
I got my massive pile of PFC stuff from Mark at OG.
PS - let those rotors float and enjoy the cool race car sound rattling around where ever you go
I recommend getting second set of hats for front rotors and having them already assembled on rotors for MUCH MUCH MUCH quicker trackside swaps.

Naive question form future PCCB owner/converter: will these same rear rotors work to replace 997.2 GT3 PCCB rotors if the hubs have been converted to 5-lug?

TIA
