Sly did a proper job of crashing, but she's been good ever since.
BTW theres a cuter picture where she has her hand in front of her mouth and points at the car saying oops.
Throw away the antique (Randy will probably race it) and give her, her own GT3 keep both maybe add a 996 or 997 3.6 GT3
First experience with a high g stop, was backing into the hill (driver r) at Limerock on no name straight, after dropping a wheel on drivers left. Full boogy in 3rd, spun fast and climbed the hill for 30' and came down flat. slammed my head on roll bar and bruised everything. They say I was in my car for two yellow flag laps, but to me I jumped right out as was looking to see if I could fix the car. Honestly i think it was the first time I realized i could actually get hurt. I wasn't invincible and 21 anymore.
My poor wife was freeking out, because all she saw were 35 cars going by and I'm not there. THe rIde to the care center in an ambulance and the humility of facing the boys after. Officially humbled !! Not for long though. First year racing...
High G and getting the wind knocked out of you will do that.
Woke up looking at the sky after motor cross thinking is was 10 seconds but it probably takes longer to gather a circle of 30 people staring at you to see if you are still alive.
BTW don't bring wifey. If you crash you just say the engine blew and hide the car. I have pre arranged this with my brother who is always "contact ICE" in case I wake up in the hospital.
Got rammed by a motorcycle at full speed while crossing the road (I was in the cross walk with a walk signal). When it happened, I remember thinking, "hmm, I am looking down but why can I see the sky?" and then a few seconds of confusion followed by a realization that something was off. I tried to continue walking only to discover that I was lying flat on the road. I tried to get up but fell down. At this point my body had completely shut down the pain sensation (I did not realize how badly I was hurt) so I decided to get up again, this time on a single foot (my other ankle was badly hurt). I started limping and jumping to the sidewalk and continued limping to the next block, where I got into a cab (no idea how or what I told to the cabbie). Took me six months to recover and the pain, a little of it is still there (this happened over 20 years ago).

Wow something similar happened when my best friend crashed his identical to mine bike. Drove himself to the hospital in my car. It was filled with blood. He was in and out of the hospital for 8 months. We bought identical bikes. We were young and stupideter and I made him agree that when one of us crashes I sell both bikes. I did the same day. No more suicycles..
In retrospect I am lucky he went off at 40Mph. In Florida it was always shorts and t shirt racing each other.
