I think Randy and Peter tried that many moons ago when they were running .1 jalopies and didn't see an improvement.

Even if they did I'm not sure I have the talent to drive and push little buttons at the same time

I'll bet you do have the talent. Just make sure your latte cup is not in the way.

I followed Randy for a few laps on Sunday morning to get some footage for him of the new car inaction. It's deafening. Looks pretty good though.

Randy, your front end in this video looks darty? It felt like that, or it felt just pushy? I think this is when you went too stiff in the front? Please post the sideways compilation ;-)

"ve been told rhe car adjusts the shock settings anyway, also when you dont hit the button, maybe this is only on the .2. Not sure.

This was when zotz softened up the rear shocks and put rear bar full soft

It got fixed after this...but the car was a handful here

I'm too busy right now to put together my greatest saves video lol

Deputydog With regard to RRR. Your line could be improved.. Also carry a lot more speed into 1-2 (Double apex). Best lap times are achieved there by using a constant but gradual increase in throttle from 8 (back side of the track) to the front straight. The car will feel much, much more planted because of the flat surface an modulation of the throttle there besides a constant increase will unsettle the car.

Video below is Qualifying last year in my M3 Race car. I can turn a 1:16.6 in 3,100lbs 240hp car. most of which is gained in 1-2 and 8-1.

Thanks for the tips Dave. Always looking to improve. Those laps were just for filming Randy. Not that they were drastically different but it was more about keeping him in the shot.

Here's my best lap of the weekend. Nitto NT01/PFC Pads. Constructive or destructive criticism welcome TBL for entire weekend said 18.2 So I'm going to have to drastically change things or just keep repeating 18's over and over. Please let me know where I need to work on. I'm guessing from what I've been told from a couple other people in the know that again, deeper and faster into 1 and more speed through 3.

Thoughts?
