Default PCCB Pads, is there a track/motorsport version?

Hi there

Do Porsche do a more track focused motorsport pad for ceramics to help with disc wear on track?

Secondly on my C2S with ceramics are it's calipers the same as those on the Turbo and GT3?

Currently, there is only one approved pad for PCCB. Its the standard street/track pad.

Porsche used to endorse the motorsport green pads for PCCB, but lately they're saying that the wear is accelerated and they're no longer approved.

As a counterpoint, my friend has been using motorsport greens on his 650hp 996 TT PCCBs without issue... They have a much stronger bite.

Endless does make several pad compounds which are compatible with PCCB.
I've tried the street/track and track versions.
Conclusion: Am not to sure about them. Have had a few scary moments when stopping after long high speed straights. My verdict is still out.
Will say those blue colored Endless pads sure made a mess of my calipers. They are permenantly stained. Need to powdercoat them not.

I agree with Ranger, however I have only tried the ME20 pad with arguably mixed results. I want to try a more aggressive Endless PCCB pad but to be honest the Endless price turns me off. I'll probably go to steel rotors with PFC pads before I try another Endless PCCB pad.

There are many reports of guys in Europe with lots of Ring laps that use RS19/29s on ceramic rotors.

I have used many a set of the Green P50s race ceramic pads - they last 3-4x the OE pads on the track, have more initial bite when hot (they have to be hot to work properly) and they wear your rotors faster - but they work.

The one caviat about the Green P50s and bumpy tracks and Slicks tires / Hoosiers is that the crappy OE ABS computer can get unhappy it you are a brake pedal stabber - you must let the car load the brakes so you don't trigger ABS intervention / ice mode accidentally. On a really bumpy track like Sebring I wouldn't recommend the P50s.

I have a set of RS 29s in my garage that I plan on using as my next set for a test so I can't give personal feedback until I do but there are some old posts on here from a certain Ring DE driver that has used them.

We've been provided with the .pdf file above so far and if I hear additional info I'll post here - these aren't in the US quite yet

Thanks, I'm not big on swapping the rear pads out all the time due to the caliper/pad/mount. Not ideal.

I've run two sets of RS29 on PCCBs and am happy with the results. Next to try RSCs. Craig can you please PM me your pricing for both the RS29 & RSC1 in 997.2 GT3 fitments? Many thanks.
