ERP would be my first choice. however, 1/2 of the tarret stuff are ERP items.

also, ERP doesn't make all the stuff. they have toe links, thrust arms and dog bones. i dont think ERP makes LCA pucks or inner LCA monoballs.

i run ERP toe links.
Right. Maybe one day i will get rss lca - now only have erp tow links

u dont need the LCA, you just need the inner monoball joint (yours are already split arms), then the round puck for the LCA, ERP tension/compression arm, upper control arm, MCS shocks, regear'd box, guards LSD, upper rear monoball plate, springs, helpers, need new drop links else your MCS will not work. that about covers 50% of phase one mod.

Mooty, what's the other 50%? Brakes, engine, data and coaching? Haha...

Nick,

Was that you who went with the Champion suspension bits in your build? If it was, can you comment on them?

No, I wanted them but they were just going to final prototype stage when I my car was being built. I have ERP arms. I've seen the Champion arms, the pinch bolt style is much easier to adjust and also IMO more secure. Good enough for the LMP900 R8, good enough for me. The bearings they use are high quality/good durability ones, similar to the ERP.

The adjustment and bearings used are the most important- using a nut to lock the arm on both ends is a frustrating endeavor that requires constant checking and vigilance during adjustment, whereas the pinch bolt style is really a snap. The bearing quality is obvious- lower end Heims elongate very quickly.

Hope that helps...

Aurora, just like any other bearing/spherical rod end manufacturer makes both good and junk products. I wouldn't rave a product just because "it has aurora."

I have came across a plenty of rejects from Aurora... When I was making replacement sway bar links for BMWs and Porsches a few years back, I found that a little known company (midwest control products) produced products with no rejects, high quality, and very reasonable cost.

For a street car, I prefer bone stock suspension (I did the full monoball thing with my 4 liter, been there, done that).

Agreed. That is why I wrote that the Champion and ERP product uses higher quality Heims and bearings.

Most people asking about these sorts of products are track junkies, street cars should use OE...
