Default found new 1:18 model of 997.2 GT3 RS in white/red

every visit to the ring I go and have a look at the 911 diecast models over at the gas station and saw this one. picked one up for €49. I found it online for €43 so not too bad a markup considering the location.
Doors, trunk, bootlid all open. interior is accurate enough.

Its made by Norev. Never heard of them. Quality seems to be okay but not at AutoArt levels. Not bad. thought some who collect these things would enjoy.

I checked out the 1:12 997.1 GT3 RS in Pumpkin and looked beautiful. Wouldn't pay €499 euro for it though.

not to change the subject...is that an asp.net 1.0 book? i happen to be a .net developer and i'm glad to see a fellow programmer, if you are one, with such a nice car.

sorta, 2.0 very old book of course. I'm an Oracle DBD/DBA actually, but I like to dabble in everything.

shouldn't you be a rennlist member and forum sponsor to be pushing car sales all over rennlist? to answer your question, no thanks. i have one already.

AutoArt is definitely made better and preferred, but I don't think they sell a 1:18 997.2 GT3 RS in Carrara White.

All the Porsche employees get first dibs on the newest models at the gift shops in Zuffenhausen and some very avid collectors there. Let me know if you need some help getting this particular one. I can send you one. just cover the costs and I'd be happy to help out.

Just picked one up at the Museum. They look to be the same as Auto Art.

Grey and Red has been available for a while. 1/18 and 1/43. They are on Ebay(expensive) or check Diecast sites.

The ref. no. for the Gray,Red is 62740 if that helps.
I just came from the largest Die Cast store in Stuttgart and they did not have it. The Porshe Museum did not have it either. I am sure you can find it soon.
Minichamps makes it in 1:43.
