The general consensus is that thermal binding is not good. The recommendation is ceramic coating.

Would we see any gains in ceramic coating the stock headers? On my old e36 M3 I had custom long tube step down headers that were ceramic/thermal coated inside and out, but I didn't think we would see the gains these guys are claiming from just that.

IPD Plenums... 30whp gains from just from a plenum.... Hmmmm i guess this might ring a bell

The gains seem oddly high for being a naturally aspirated car with short headers. I would need to see an independent test to believe it.

After reading this article some time ago I realized all of the claims, by everyone, are nothing more than BS. And if you do somehow manage to increase output, you're doing bad to some other part of the system.

You only need to read the one page to see what Porsche did to get 50 HP to know some unscientific clowns cannot get you safe HP by wrapping stuff....
