Default Dealer Flip

Will be interesting to see what they list it for:

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...erTypes=b&mmt=[POR[911[]][]]&modifySearchId=53262683&lastExec=1351475129000&modelCode1=911&sortBy=mi leageASC&makeCode1=POR&startYear=2007&showcaseOwnerId=0&firstRecord=51&s earchRadius=0&listingId=335665511&listingIndex=21&Log=0

Listed in Houston for 67,991

Interesting original dealer thought it was black a common color...now it has become a rare color.

Here is the response...good profit for a move from Houston to FL.

Thanks for looking at our Porsche. It is available we just purchased it and has just been inspected. I should receive the car towards the end of the week..

We will have it listed for 78,900.. Below you will find a link to our website, I will let you know once we activate the carfax on the website.

Let me know if I could help further.

The best part is a fellow Rennlister went and test drove the car and did not buy it.

If the car was local and checked out plus different color than black I would have jumped on it. It seems that black cars are somewhat hard to sell not sure why. But I myself would prefer not to have a black GT3.

To add...it went from below market to above market. As I dont think it is worth what the new dealer is asking.

Atlas grey not black, not sure if atlas grey is rare or not?

I am sure new dealer has to recon, transport and more than likely deal with a trade. Plus they never get what they ask for any way, always have to leave a little on the table to negotiate and if you include the cost of money profit margins get smaller and smaller.

At least we agree that 67.9 was below market...

agree on a dealer making profit i am and was surprised no one jumped on it...like I said on rennlisted on this forum check it out and was complaining about the clutch being too hard and it might not be the best daily driver and he was not sure if it was the car or him getting old.

i told him it was clearly him.

i have no clue on the color but it is interesting how the original dealer did not know what color it was and now it is a rare color

ah i remember that thread.
well, horse for course. i guess.
the clutch to me isn't heavy and suspsension was a tad too soft. i would have preferred 600/8-900 springs.

but you are right..... someone should have jumped at it. even if the clutch was BAD, at that price, you could have paid and get 4.0L pp and clutch installed and still be ahead of the game.

agree...the worst part is no one realized it was not black.

i surely could not tell from the picture but this troll guy...sure might have missed out. he could have had a great Christmas present. i just got a 97 993 w/ 58K miles on it for my Christmas present but would have preferred a GT3, which will be coming soon by end of 2013. there have been a good amt of deals coming up recently...just have to be there first. i know if i had test drove this car and got clean ppi...it would have been in my driveway bc I know I would not lose much money if I got bored of it.
