Default Greeting from Peru

hello,

my name is william and I have been a regular around this forum since 2009, when i bought my first 911 997.1 carrera... have been in love with the car for almost two years when i moved on to a 2011 nissan gtr, and two weeks ago i came back to porsche with an almost brand new 2010 gt3 997.2 with only 4,000 kilometers on the odo (2500 miles)...

first impression on the car is that it feels quick... much more than my gtr, and probably it is not at least in straight line... but man, the sound from the engine is intoxicating... and the feedback it gives back to you, it is impressive... no regrets turning down the gtr...

will use it as a second car, mostly for trackdays and spirited drives... because here in lima, peru it is madness to use this kind of car for daily drive... too much traffic...

some pics...

Bienvenido.

997.2 GT3 looks amazing in red and was the color Porsche chose for marketing the new car.

Best of luck.

Love the color. I just rode in GTR around the track.. Car is a beast but not as much effort needed compared to GT3s... but stupid fast =)

Also interesting to see an A-26 Bomber and a DC-3 parked at the side of the autocross. Nice car too!

Hi William,

Congratulations

Thanks for your feedback regarding the GTr...youre one of the few ones saying that a GTr feels a bit slow compared to the GT3.

I guess youre the only GT3 3.8 in Peru..?

PS: Perfect car for enjoying the beautiful mountains of Peru..engine sound will be roaring in the mountain valleys..
