be sure that you are prepared because the g-forces will wear you out. VERY high load corners and braking zones.
Thanks CJ and that's very reassuring to hear from your first hand experience. Love to get a turn by turn note from you when you get time. Do you have video of your run?

Not sure how far you are to COTA but you might want to consider hiring a car hauler for the trip. We are in the process of getting quote to hire an enclosed car hauler for 1 week and transport 4-5 cars plus all the tools, wheels and tires.

Yeah, we will have a much better idea on what's out there before year end. The early we know of the date and event the better. Already got blessing from wife (she thought this is a super fun event) but I need to turn in vacation request before year end if it's for a March event. You know, if we have more than 100 people coming then we can just buy out the track for three days and run our own rennlist rule!

I read you that's why I did this thread to have everyone look out for the best possible venue/organization for our DE Cup. We all have to make alot of sacrifice be it flying or towing our car to Austin so we need to make this mancation well worth the trip

After a long stint in Asia, I'm returning to Austin in mid-November permanently. I can only say I'm in the market right now, but assuming everything goes to plan, I would definitely be interested in participating.

I'm on the COTA list and definitely in. There's talk of a mini mancation with a possible stop at NOLA along the way if the timing is right.

Should be awesome.

Yes it is. They don't have all the detail iron out as yet: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...exas-cota.html

Sounds good and you got plenty of time to pick up a nice GT3 before the ultimate DE cup

That will be nice if you can work in NOLA. I only have time for COTA for now

Just checked out NARRA http://narraonline.com/ - tons of viper and corvette. Look like a mostly club racing venue instead of DE

Narra has all of it.

Time Trial
GT Racing
Viper Cup
Pde
Solo

A bunch of the DE cup came to the narra event at Road Atlanta. It was well run. There would be official timing available let so guys do t have to scare the de drivers. Solo and Time Trials usually run together so you could TT or not.

Yes, Austin is supposed to be fun. I am trying to convince my gf to fly in - no way she's going to do that drive.
