Default Exhaust tone change at 4,000 RPM HELP..

I have a GMG Sport Center Exhaust on my 07RS. With the Sport button enabled there is an initial difference in the sound. What is odd is that is tame until ~4,000 RPM at which time it sounds as if there is a "Flap or Door" that opens and the exhaust suddenly comes alive...

My question is if there is indeed a "Flap" can that be fixed open? If so How?

Also if there is a way to fix it open will the car then still have change in tone with the Sport button off?

Thanks

Perfectly normal operation. You can pull a plug to have the flap open all the time if you'd like. I'm not sure where the tutorial is on here but a google search may find it for you.

if you pull the plug, the sport button on may still remap the throttle but who cares about that. Just pull the plug and leave the button off.

Great right?

I love the drone -- keeps me amused when I'm in a dull and boring line of traffic.

Hoosier, I take it that you're keeping your car for now. Nice!

Yes Sir -- came to my senses.

That and with my dwindling testosterone I was getting very grumpy with all the low ballers who were never serious, but know everything.
