Does anyone know if LS imposes the 92db sound restriction when Motor Trend (and others) test cars?

We were there this past weekend with POC and everyone with Porsches had to choke up their intakes/exhausts to pass sound. Sound pretty elaborate exhaust systems were designed just to pass. Certainly not horsepower inspiring.......
