The factory fill is avaialable in 1 liter bottles from your P-dealer. Suncoast in Florida can provide it.

Yeah, 1L for $35 from Suncoast....no thanks. I'll take 1 gallon of Delvac for $35. Factory fill isn't magic in a bottle, Delvac is fine. If it's good enough for race teams, it's good enough for me.

You can purchase Delvac through many Grainger locations by the gallon.

The principal difference between Delvac and the factory oil is that the factory oil contains friction modifiers. Contrary to popular belief, this is not for the LSD but actually more for the steel synchros on 3-6. On cold start up the steel synchros can be a bit balky, and the modifier aids with that. Though it is not required and for track usage many people prefer the "feel" of Delvac, especially late in a session when it's getting really hot.

Great explanation. I run Delvac for any P- car that gets taken to the track and I run the factory fill in my street P-car. Been doing so for years at the advice of Copans when he rebuilt my 6-3 gearbox about 5 years ago.

Paragon Products carries a Redline 75w 90 with friction modifier. Anybody used it?
