Yeah, 1L for $35 from Suncoast....no thanks. I'll take 1 gallon of Delvac for $35. Factory fill isn't magic in a bottle, Delvac is fine. If it's good enough for race teams, it's good enough for me.

You can purchase Delvac through many Grainger locations by the gallon.
The principal difference between Delvac and the factory oil is that the factory oil contains friction modifiers. Contrary to popular belief, this is not for the LSD but actually more for the steel synchros on 3-6. On cold start up the steel synchros can be a bit balky, and the modifier aids with that. Though it is not required and for track usage many people prefer the "feel" of Delvac, especially late in a session when it's getting really hot.
