Jenk, are you going back to AMP between end of mancation and camp? I want to go and see if I can make it on the racing surface before they black flag me.

We don't have that type of scrutiny in the SE, and opportunistic people take advantage of it. I mean who, having read the rules, even shows up without a dyno sheet and just claims a class? Happens here on the regular, and nearly ALL shop cars that have tons of dyno time on said cars. VERY annoying!!
Not only that the TT director told me he said it was only running 600 whp this weekend to top it off, see below. Wonder what 690 hp will look like.
Can't wait to get to nationals where the rules are REALLY enforced.

The NASA FL Region requires paperwork to be submitted 3 days before the event at the latest. No paperwork, automatically places the entry in TTR. Transparency.
We go to impound after each session, and get weighed randomly. The fast cars in class, hit the scales most of the time.
I just checked a SouthEast video from the GTR, and ran it side-by-side with my January event at Sebring in the morning (where my car ran the strongest ever given the low temperatures and zero humidity), from 83 mph to 140mph, that Nissan carrying an extra 800 lbs, and very likely more drag than my Fiat, gets to 153 mph. My math says way over 730 whp ==> TTR.
We have something better than a dyno too, Traqmate plugged to suspect cars, data analysis and if numbers don't add up, DNQ for the entire event.
IMHO, you got robbed.

Here is the Road Atlanta video. Notice the car takes around 6 seconds to go (Traqmate overlay) from 60mph-130mph. This is Bugatti Veyron territory, the Veyron is in a similar weight range, but less drag given its slick body, Summer RA temperatures and Height are far from ideal, and a Veyron has 4 Turbos and 1001Hp.
Not remotely a TTU car. When sponsors and prizes are involved in the Sport, rules need to be enforced, this ain't DE. It seems to be the same car Leh drove at OLOA. The nice part is that in TTR it would still win.

The TTU record at Road Atlanta will be in the 1:24-1:25 range by early next year. If its legal or not depends on who runs it.

This sound limit stuff gets old quick. Stock cars barely or not passing is ridiculous.
The NASA event there will be hilarious, they might as well just race tow vehicles because no one will pass. Saw the db reading of cars from de 1 and two this weekend and about 30% of them won't even make it. forget about racing .
that being said I'm interested in giving at least 1 shot
