I did the sunroof delete myself with a friend last year (except for the paint- let a shop do that). We started around 9 AM and had the roof in and welding completed by dinner time. Totally worth the time and relatively low cost for the weight savings up high!

Seems like one of the fancy 3M epoxy's would work well for this...

i was told epoxy and rivets

sorry to bring up an old thread but am about to do this mod on my 997tt and was wondering if anyone has a lead on a 996 gt3 headliner? have everything else I think
