My GT3RS project: "Airborne Ranger"

Look at RSRanger's rpms at 45mph in 1st gear? That's the speed people were concerned about in certain corners on various Florida tracks, right?
And if he blows up either 1st or 2nd gear's dog teeth, he doesn't have to buy an all new shaft like he does on a car with a stock mainshaft with integral 1st and 2nd gear. He can use all 6 gears on track without fear of a massive repair bill because he zinged the teeth on an idler. So, he zings 1st gear from a bad downshift. Champion calls me up, gets a replacement idler, puts in some new synchros while he's at it and he's right back at it. He bought more than just pretty trinkets. He bought into a modular system.

Nick hopefully Matt from Guard can chime in on your question.
btw Nick engine & tranny went in today. They fired it up and "it's alive".
Damn it's loud and that's with the old M&M exhaust.
It also revs like a dentist drill.
So far all has demonstrated an excellent attention to detail by Champion Motorsport, Louis and all the great guys.
Plus after break-in we're still not done. Many other components are in progress. The 4 way Ohlins are due in nexy week and body work

Nick that's funny.
Yeah us 62 y/o guys need to be careful.
Mr. NJ-GT (all knowing expert) as I've told him, I will run in the "Green Tea" Cup class (that's w/ metamucil). He's so great why not run with the pros?
Stop running with amateurs. What is wrong with this guy???
Take care Nick and when the RS is ready to roll it would be nice to have you around.

I have had the chance through my few days of track experience, to share track time, enjoy drinks and food, chat with Pros, Pro-Am, fun stuff but I can't live that life, very few privileged Pros have made good, for each one that made good, there are probably 10 Pros that didn't do as good, and hundreds of amateurs chasing the dream, and I might be too generous with these estimations.
Running with amateurs in the Gold Cup is more fun.
Reminder: you will likely swap that 2nd gear to something shorter, you'll see.
