Came across a copy of a 997 cup car manual and the studs were quoted at the lesser torque of 73Nm... Maybe some guys who have had them installed for a while or with cup car experience can chime in...

The price should be about $100.
Somebody let me know where I can actually order this from because I've been trying to order this kit from Orbit for over 2 weeks now, and can't even get them to call me back when I'm practically begging to buy something, not to mention $800 worth of other parts. I gave them my credit card # and shipping address over 1 week ago....how about an ETA Eduardo?
I know they are great to the local customers/rennlisters, which is why I tried to order from them, but they are new to the internet parts sales thing, and it shows right now.

Mvez, the pricing is WRONG if Orbit quoted you $100. They quoted me that and then when I tried to order I never heard back after repeated contacts to the for over a month (namely Eduardo). The pricing for the full kit (all 4 corners) is approximately $170-200 depending on who you buy from. Cost from PMNA is $170 and markup is typical 10% by PMNA dealers. They can't get it any cheaper as PMNA doesn't do "wholesale" pricing. It is what it is. Orbit doesn't have their **** together and choose to ignore customers instead.
If you have a local dealer (or race shop) check and see if they have a PMNA account and have them order it. It makes no sense to order through the mail and pay shipping when you can get it local. Unless of course, you local guy is upcharging the heck out of it and the internet guys are selling at cost as almost a loss leader.

I'd gladly pay $200 for the f-ing parts, but not with Orbit anymore.

2007 and 2008 GT3s use different part numbers than 2010-2011 GT3, We went beyond, and brought a customer's car in to verify the correct length to provide the correct part numbers. Now we have the correct part numbers for all different applications 2007 and 2010. Yes the nuts are really expensive, but there is a more cost effective option. If you asked me about the 2010 we had it down right from the beginning.

It's unfortunate you chose to ignore potential customers. It's not that you didn't get back in time. You didn't get back at all. I, and others, have found vendors that actually follow through. I don't like my time being wasted.

Guys....hold on...Eduardo at Orbit is very easy to reach by phone and talk with....maybe he was double making sure he had the correct parts for the various cars. Orbit is primary a service shop that specializes in race cars. They are just getting into being a parts business from the way I see it and Edurado is not siting at the desk manning the phone all day.

Eduardo responded immediately to an alignment question that I had asked Peter (Trakcar) who relayed it to him. I'm in NorCal and there was not much business Eduardo was going to do with me but he spent 10 minutes on the phone with a complete stranger :-) And he answered my question, too!
Just wanted to give another RL'ers input on an interaction with Eduardo :-):-)

I have no idea. I barely know my car... I just drive it. Anytime something is amiss I speed dial Tom at Champion!
That'll change once I move down to FL. I'll actually have space to work on my cars, what a revelation... Then I can stare at whatever I want and still use speed dial!

I talk to Shiraaz at Champion, also great guys but a bit out of the way for me, they just helped me out the last 2 days, new radiators and a rear axle booth plus some recall for the ecu was done just today along with some secret stuff :-)
When are you moving down? Where are you moving to? We need to meet up.
