Based on posts that recently resurfaced, I sent correspondence to Blair earlier this week following up on an order from 14 months prior that was never received. While obviously displeased, to his credit I had two sets of numbers with full refund within 48 hours of my email to him.

this is why I go to home depot, buy magnetic duct covers and make my own magnets.

I too have had 2 poor experiences from Blair at autocrossnumbers / Hart photography.
The first was getting a picture months after I had ordered it with poor correspondence. The second (this month) was placing an order and not receiving anything for a month. I just cancelled my order.

When finally contacted, Blair "tries to make it right". My friends and I have had enough poor experiences that I have contacted local PCA, The Driver's Edge, and Apex Driving Academy to suggest they don't use him or advertise for him.

Just my opinion of course.

I've used Blair for numbers, signs, graphics for years. Pics you see on my car came from him. I've always had good luck. Maybe he just hit a rough patch for a while. I know he's honest and certainly not sitting around on his yacht.

Ky,

Dan at Magnagrafix does great work and is very responsive. He does the graphics for a lot of race cars.

Bumping up an old thread ( that I wish I had known about... )

Same deal - several emails, voicemails, etc... nothing ever heard of again.

EDIT: I spoke with him - he apologized for the delay - explained some technical things about the layout and offered suggestions. Said that he would get them out this week for delivery by the end of the week.

Seems like a pretty nice guy.

I called him last week and emailed him the week prior, no response. I just ordered from soloperformance.com instead...

I had a similar experience. Ordered twice and never received any confirmation on order. Sucks..

Bumping again for the same problem. I've called twice and emailed and contacted him through his website and nothing but crickets. I figured since he advertises through the ClubRegistration website he'd be at least responsive.

I ordered two weeks ago and leave for my event next week. Do any of these other vendors turn it around in enough time for my event next weekend? I suppose I could try that route and have it delivered to my hotel because I have no confidence in Blair at this point.

OMG, these guys are RIP OFFS.

I buy my numbers from VinylDisorder in Irvine. Send them a PDF of what you want, describe the specs. They quote, they make, they ship in a day. vinyldisorder.com

A plain 8" number in black, 3 digits is about $7 per set, last time I ordered.
