F40, Carrera GT, Scuderia, 4.0RS, a factory track car (996 GT3 Cup), a 360 Spider with manual transmission. That would complete my list.
Great list but why 360 spider vs 430 spider?

I've got both - well, sort of...'08 RS and 458. Great combo to have. Of course the 4.0 is at a higher performance level than my '08, but it's still a 997 variant GT3. My take is that ALL these cars depreciate, including at some point the 4.0. The 4.0 is simply too much more money than the 3.8 to not depreciate. Don't any of you kid yourselves, modern performance cars lose value for a long time before they gain any, if ever.
As for one vs. the other, depends what you want to do with the car. Track it a lot?.....that'll be the GT3. Drive mostly on the street with a stupid grin on your face?...that'll be the 458. Both lots of fun yet totally different. Good luck.

I know, but selling CGT?

Must redeem himself. Banana 458 ok, but selling CGT is hard to understand. Even his smart son knows that....
Maybe safe because it is a lot of car and intimidating to drive for sure, but then just park it in the living room or kitchen or pool house...

Thanks,
Having a Scuderia (F430 derived) and another F430 Spider makes no sense to me.

I personally think the 360 is a cleaner and much better looking car. It also has the last of the 308 based engines, with 5 valves per cylinder. With proper exhaust (Capristo stuff) it makes the sounds of heaven.

The 355 and 348 sound even better, but they are so unreliable.

If you want a nice convertible with a manual transmission to just do cruising, normal speeds driving, nothing beats the 360 Spider 6-speed manual for the price. Handling is horrible compared to current cars, but fix is cheap and simple.

Rad, what would you do to get a better handling 360? Upgrade to stradale springs/sways/bushings?

It is actually easier than this. Alignment and springs with the stock shocks. No need for bushings, no need for stiffer sway bars. Most of the gains come from the alignment, the car came with a snap oversteer that has caught plenty of people by surprise. Fiat is good at building cars, but they are the worse guys to setup a car.

Modenas are affordable, they have come down to 996 GT3 prices practically. I think the 360 Modena and the Stradale are the best looking Fiats in the last 20 years.

I did have a black CGT...very stupid move to sell the car. And yes, clearly my 11 year is smarter than me.
