The 458 is not scuderia. So you can ditch it for a 4.0L and not feel bad

I'd keep the F-car fully understanding that the flashy upside has its hugely depreciating downside. To be cool, you're going to always have to upgrade, upgrade, upgrade, spend, spend, spend. The American way and it sounds like you're keeping up quite well.

On the other hand, the P-car will be loved by corporate geeks and not so much by the chicks who are drawn to the playboy lifestyle yet the 4-oh will maintain its value with a very real shot at classic status decades from now. 458 has none of this as its electronic wizardry innards will surely begin to date itself even by next year.

Oh, what a conundrum - gl!

Not to hijack this thread but I'm liking the Gallardo LP550-2. A cheaper version of the Balboni. I can't find one with a 6 speed manual.

Sell the 458 while it still commands a premium (or not much depreciation).. Get the 4.0. Then add a 458 Scuderia later when it becomes available.

Now do the common sense thing and ask the same question in a Fiat forum.

This forum seems to be VW biased most of the time, I'm surprised to see so much support for the 458, I guess most have not driven one.

I test drove one and it broke down so to me the 458 is a POS, which I already posted about. That is why I'm thinking about a rear drive Lambo. I test drove it twice and it did not break down. Keep the Porsche RS cars for the track, and get a Lambo for the street.

Get the 4l, buy a Carrera GT and find an F40. Then you won't have to start one of these threads ever again.

You are welcome.
