By the time Seth's car is broken in, it will be in the 470whp range, just with driving miles. Amazing powerband. At 6,000 rpm is already putting more power down than a 996 GT3, and it just goes North until 8500rpm. Add the fact that it is lighter than the 996 GT3, it comes with both shorter gearing, a short R&P, and it must be on a new league.
Is that R&P 32/8?

Still mulling over getting a 6GT3 and taking to sharky for the full monty 3.9.

35/9

996 GT3, with Sharky 3.9, 33/8 Guard R&P, some lightening, and some cheap Cup Aero parts for the 996 would eat 4.0RS all day long. No nannies is even better.

Sub-10%power losses is what you expect with the 911 drivetrain configuration.

My 996 3.6 put down 355whp on a dynojet and its rated at 380. I think I'm going to dyno my 4.0 tomorrow.

Looking forward to see the results. A 3.9 or 4.0 upgrade on a 6GT3 would be really sweet

It won't be too impressive, don't worry. Haven't had it tuned yet.
