Nope, but they are slower in the dry, probably in the order of a small # of seconds, in the wet its a different matter.

remember the MPSC+ is R rated rubber, MPSS is UHP...

Not your fault, don't get too bent over the French doing things their way.

We'll see how the testing goes at Sebring. No clue how good or bad it may go since the tires are completely different from the PSC+. That will ultimately determine whether we go for it this year or not. The problem is that Michelin delayed this size release all last year, and we wanted to use last year as a testing year, so we are again behind the 8 ball so to speak.

I know a couple who ran the 305's last year and were very happy even though it was smaller than stock size. Catesby thinks they are awesome and really good wet tire. I would run the AD08 if I knew it was going to be dry but slim chance with this years route. Ian ran a 2:18.6 lap at Sebring on PS2's ***** out and no traffic. I would expect the PSS to be faster based on everbodys experience so far.

Thanks again Larry. I'm getting a set for dual duty: street & wet track. Run R6's on dry track.

Larry, really appreciate you keeping us updated with all this info for so long, I have waited with anticipation for the 325/30ZR19 MPSS since I like to drive my GT2 in all weathers....

After being told that the tyre is not going to be available in the UK, Damon at Tirerack tells me that the tyre he can sellme has no ECE mark which means it may not be allowed into a European Country.

I wonder if you could find out a bit more about this size in the MPSS, is it being made specifically for all the GT3RSs which the US market took ?

Damon says he can ship it and it may get allowed into the UK even without the ECE marking but I am reluctant to fit a tyre which is not ECE approved and may have been made specifically for the US market and may not be rated/tested at the high speeds which other ECE tyres are certified at, any info on this issue would be appreciated

I have passed on your post to my contacts at Michelin US, I will see if they can advise, or fwd to someone in Michelin UK...

I dont see why good'ol blighty should not get the 325 as there are plenty of 911's there that use that fitment ... perhaps a fit of franco-pique in this the Queen's juliblee year?
