This model of tyre (in another size) is fitted to the Ferrari FF which can do 208mph so I am pretty sure this size will have the exact same construction so I am not worried really, the blurb nd TUV have tested and approve, just a little weird that Porsche haven't bothered ?

my guess is that as long as Michelin produces PS2 & MPSC in homologated versions for the 996's and 997's that Porsche will not "retroactively" homologate the MPSS on anything other than the 991's et al ...

Michelin Pilot Supersports went on my scales.

245/35ZR19 Tirerack says 23lbs, my scales say 22lbs (10kg)

325/30ZE19 Tirerack says 32lbs, my scales say 31lbs (9kg)

MPSC N1 245/35ZR19 Tirerack says 20lbs, my scales say 20lbs (9kg)

Edited to get Tirerack nos right !

From Tirerack website for PSS

235/35/19 = 25#
245/35/19 = 23#

Seems strange and impossible but the 23# is close to your number.

You are quite correct, I got the 25lb mixed up with the tyre above on their specs sheet..... the reason I weighed them was it seemed odd that the 245 was lighter that the 235 (according to tirerack site) but it is true that the 245 is 22lbs so just need someone to weigh the 235
