The test car had PDK and "warm" tires (its in the fine print), meaning they cracked off 2 or 3 or 4 or more 0 to 60s to get that one. I wonder what that does to the PDK clutch pack's life span?

Regardless, it is a fast car, no doubt!

Cheers!

My GT3RS was 160. I doubt that many went for the base price. A 4.0 is 200k. New RS will be 175 plus. Porsche makes a ton on limited cars. The will keep raising the price until the quit selling. Nothing wrong with that.

MSRP base was still $132 or $135K, depending on date of manufacture.

If you mean the Mezger, then no. It will likely be based on the 9A1 engine (991).

I am just going to say this. The 991 GT3 will be great, I am sure. However, I am going to pass one generation I think. I am really happy with my 997 Gen 2.

lots of speculation. I wonder myself but it's hard to be sure of anything just yet.

The P.com site states 4.3 sec.
Latest issue of C&D posted 3.6sec in their test.

If I can afford it, I will buy a 991 RS.

991S Feb, I believe.

991 gt3, at the very earliest the fall of 2012, likely no later than fall of 2013; summer of 2013 is my guess.

Any word on the electric steering finding its way in the 991 GT3? If that turns out to be the case, and the engine is "consumer grade" I'm not sure how much I care about ring times and the like.
