Hi Guys,
I have a 997 GT3 3.8 MkII, my clutch is slipping and currently with 18k miles on the clock, 50% track and 50% weekend drive. Since i'm changing the clutch, i just want to seek your opinion if i should :
a) replace back with the standard GT3 clutch?
b) replace with the RS4.0 complete clutch with flywheel?
What would be your suggestion and recommendation? Please advise.
Thanks

Suggest you read the thread from the start for more details but these are the parts usually required per Trakcar's early post:

To do 4.0 job, you would definitely need to do flywheel also and put up with additional noise...

Standard clutch! The GT3 and the RS cars don't share the same clutch! The 4.0 clutch most likely won't work on a reg GT3 because we have a dual mass flywheel, not the LWFW like the RS cars!... Double check with your dealer!

Guys, thank for the advise.
The Porsche workshop quoted me a complete RS4.0 clutch with flywheel, can the 4.0 clutch must go with the flywheel. However, the warranty for the engine and gearbox will be void upon installing them.
The noise is still bearable, however, am still thinking what should i do? RS4.0 clutch OR Standard GT3 clutch??
