Now I'm up to 8800 miles, around 3000 track miles, and no problem so far. Not with the clutch or pressure plate.

Soon as John pulled into the pits I had trouble getting my car out of gear.

Emailed dealer. They said to bring it in (dealer is in NY, car is in FL). Long drive.

~8600 miles. Maybe half track.

You can add the dark knight to the list of pressure plate/clutch failures.

Mine just went with 7200miles on the odo. Bought my car with 1500miles on it and I've put a lil over 3k track miles on it

Need to change my vote. Superman rolled over some kryptonite. ~9100 miles. Maybe half are track, but not sure--not a daily driver, but I drive long distances to the track. Hasn't gone yet. But it gets stuck in gear, etc.

They just don't post, probably afraid that the car would have a bastardized tittle ;0

Not sure what my issue is yet.

Still debating if I should take it to the dealer to push for warranty or have race shop do it.

9.000 miles, 5 track days, the rest on Autobahn / small roads. No problems so far.

Kris your pp is likely fried. Have the VW dealer get you the full 4.0RS PP/disc replacement.
