Fiat went wild with the F458 Challenge, and that's going to help the F458 Corsa (the Stradale/Scuderia version) to be a better car.
Unfortunately, the DCT (Getrag version of PDK) in the Fiat is not tolerating race use. Plenty of transmission failures.
On ALMS form, the F430 GT and F458 GT are running similar lap times, but the cars in the series are regulated through weight/tires/aero/power limits.
On the more open Fiat Challenge specs, the difference is more significant. For the first time Fiat has a Challenge car that beats the GT3 Cups with its cheater weight and aero mods.
To give an idea of performance in the F458 Challenge, the lap record set this year at the Laguna Seca race was a 1:27.5, while the fastest F430 Challenge lapped in 1:31.6. A 3 secs difference at Laguna Seca. Pro drivers would run even faster times.
Fortunately, the resale value of Challenge cars is horrible, so down the road, these F458 Challenge would be worth 50% of their current price.

F430 Challenge are on big discounts right now.
Replace the CCB rotors with steel rotors, replace slicks with DOT-R tires, and enjoy a reliable track car. There are plenty of options for brake pads.
Engines are running well after 200 hours, clutch is long lasting, transmission holds well. Wheel bearing need replacement every 40 track hours, but with proper treatment on a new set (they are affordable too) the next replacement can last for ages. Super strong axles, on a low torque engine makes them long lasting. All the suspension links are either monoball or delrin.
F430 Challenge comes with brake ducts front and rear, not available in the standard F430 or Scuderia, race ABS and no e-diff just a mechanical LSD (long lasting too).
2,750 lbs (around 250 lbs lighter than a Scuderia, and close to 500 lbs lighter than a F430 F1).
$130k buys them these days.

GT3 CUP also has no engine cooling fans and would run hot.
GT3 CUP has no ABS brakes, no lockable doors and the seats are not great for commuting.
F430 challenge not unlike the GT3 CUP has no title. Thus cannot be licensed on the street or insured.
The bill of sale for these cars state for off road use only.
If you are a dealer with a fleet insurance policy and dealer license plate than you can try them on the street..... but an accident with result in law suit and vehicle impound.
If you own a street ferrari or porsche you can aways swap the VIN tags and put one of these track cars on the street, but again it would be uncomfortable in the Ferrari and taxing in the Porsche.
The Scudera and GT3RS are close to their factory race counterparts in terms of performance but are "detuned" for suitable street use.
