Greek...my R888 had 1 dry Daytona session...and the next week I was back running dry sessions and in 1 day and 1 extra 7/10th's session I could see the rears were 1/2 used up...after the next day definitly more used and I only did 2 session on teh second day and 1 was black flagged for 1/2 of it. I'm doing 1 day Sebring this weekend and the rear will probably be done. I had Vortex flip them so we will see.

The pressures and alignment worked out great. No blown tires. nothing corded, no unusual wear. There is definitely a trade off in handling on the infield with those specs, but better to be safe than sorry. It was weird how "ordinary" those tires felt at high pressure with minimal camber. Didn't feel really at better than a good street tire. Then again they didn't explode so I can't complain.

I managed a 2:07 and the Greek pulled a 2:04. I also found out that my speedo is very optimistic when compared to my GPS data. Like 10mph optimistic on the banking. I saw an indicated 170 which translated into 160 on the data. I'm not really surprised though as it reads 4mph faster doing 60mph when compared to my nav.
