It was a great day and was a great race. Can't believe BMW RLL lost the GT lead with only few minutes left in the race. At least Flying Lizard scooped up the win instead of Risi (ran out of fuel). GT3R Hybrid is freaking fast! I didn't know it'd be faster than the GT class! I have tons of photos to process. Hope you don't mind me posting 2 of my own.

Some others photos adding to A.Dias post to give viewers a perspective of how beautiful Laguna Seca racetrack really is. Photos were taken from the hospitality suite of SCRAMP, overlooking a good portion of the majestic track and many of its famous turns & curves.

Finally, some late photos in the night of Patrick Long & Jorg Bergmeister of Flying Lizard #45 crossing the finish line, their car at the impound area after race, winner's circle, the GT trophy and the Patrick Long on his way home with a 'souvenir'! Overall, a good day for Porsche! z356

By all means add your own photos. My photos were shot with a P&S, not appropriate for fast cars on-track.

Z356: your car is gorgeous!

What a great day at Laguna Seca. My legs are killing me from all the walking. Remind me to bring my golf cart next time.

Got to meet Lizard team and what a buch of super nice guys and gald they won the GT race. Pat Long was especially friendly and so is Jörg Bergmeister.

Here is my photo contributions:

Flmingo girls as usual

Falken RSR. Before and after ... OUCH!!

Throw back race car with 700+ Hp and fule tanks on the sides of driver ... there is a reason why we don't run these race car any more

Now that's alot of wires and "crap" on Lizard RSR

Look ma! I got a date! lol

Storm .... X-man (woman). She look so intimidating even the race driver took a detour around her

GT3 Hybrid ... freaking FAST!

Porsche brought a spare just in case

I want these wheels and brakes !!

So you think you got too much ***** on your steering wheels? I sure hope the upcoming 991 GT3 Cup don't come with these type of steering wheel lol

Hybrid turbine now is under a CF box as not to scare the driver

German speaking Porsche RSR hybrid crew ... what a intimidating sight!!

Hybrid garage ... my dream garage

Wife just told me I NEED these wheel dollies!

Racer Pat Long and mikymu

I need a set of these donuts on my Cup

Bunch of wheel-less Cups.

mike, I think those dated, dangerous URC cars are are going to run as a support series to ALMS next season

though I hear they have updated safety equip.
cool!

Any suggestions on camera settings for night shots? Got the Petit coming soon - I love night shots but it is pretty hard to take good ones.

Hey Mark

Those URC race car are suicide canister as they stand. I sure don't want to be T-bone

I was going to try at LS, but being there and walking around for 12 hrs and after taking roughly 250 pics, I was too tired to fiddle with the camera setting. I think you should start with higher ISO (400-800) and set the f-stop wide open, and just experiment with it.
