Nice! What a finish for Lizard

Here is a quick video of Saturday's GT3 challenge and ALMS race start. Love how the Cup car quick blip and down shift at T2

Hey Mike

Congrats on your debut racing and winning your GT3 challenge class!! We were so proud of your accomplishment mixing up with faster 2010+ Cup car and still manage to be in mid pack. Hope you had similar success Sunday. Not sure I will see you much at DE events since you got your taste in race win

Oh, post some video of your race ... PLEASE !!

and another near race end when the Lizard attempted a pass on Risi but was denied.

Thanks! Sunday was pretty rough, led the first 2/3rds of the race then it got pretty crazy and I dropped back to P3. Made for good video though!

Here's a video of the qualifying session on saturday, I ran a 1:30.81 and pole was a 1:30.46 for the Gold class.

The race from Sunday is still encoding on youtube... might be awhile! :P

Hi Mike!

Good on ya - awesome performance from a member of our local "tribe"!

The video is fascinating. I've never seen heel/toe done with that particular technique. I'll have to give that a try!

It was great to see you this weekend and I wish you continued success in your racing career.

Thanks! I wouldn't try my heel/toe technique unless yours isn't working.. it seems like nobody does it, lol!

Here's the video from Sunday's race. Started on Gold class pole, Madison got by me into T3, then I got back by him in T11 on the first lap. Stayed that way until about the 52:00 minute mark in the video when all hell broke loose on a restart and the driver side rear of my car was damaged. Eduardo and I had a great little battle for a few corners until the full course yellow came out at the end.
