F&F 7 1/2 is like Greek to me.

Where does one purchase that gold eagle you speak of?

Are you sure that isn't the GT3 RS AutoSuperShield.com edition?

No!! I did not complain yet, as it is healthier when I am in my happy place when I do, but the custom install was not all that custom. I did not look closely when I picked it up and there are LOT's of pieces that are not NOT wrapped around the corner or even to the edge of the panel :-(

Not that pleased at the moment.

I threw tons of $$ at it trying, but wraps are not meant to work out for me I suppose..

Ahh Fast and Furious, yes, I have seen the first one I think and the Tokyo one, I heard the last one is better again?

Smoke and the bandit was more my era though...

$500 for a pair of glue on dive planes? ... Where can I delete that option on my 2013 991 GT3 4.2 RS?

Seriously, I am amazed that GT Racing, MA Shaw, or the body parts company of your choice is not selling these things for $12 a pair. Or, heck, $60 a pair.

AP said they are functional when I spoke with him, which I found interesting given how little they stand off the surface just past the corners of the front bumper. The aero game is one full of vagaries, but take courage Peter, for I have seen vinyl installs that I am sure had an effect on the aero of some press cars. Truly abysmal fit...usually kits.

And then there was the Cayman R I had which had a whistling mirror thanks to the vinyl wrap. So tempting to pull it off during 1000 miles with no A/C, but I resisted. Barely...

Daytona is my next event so if they are stll on after that, I think we are good to go.
They fit on really only one way, they are shaped "just so".

If anything the dive planes probably create more drag then downforce, but I think they are neato and complete my CUP lip and Gurney flap areo package to round out the Gold Edition of TRAKCAR. Plus I had a good month

Well said.
Even Manthey with the "it's so expensive" pricing policy wants only 60EUR for their wheel arch gurneys for GT3s, that produce 5kg of downforce. (About the same as the 4.0L spoilers / *IIRC AP talked about a 15% increase, and the GT3 has about +30kg in the front axle from the factory.)

wheel arch gurneys,
I got those in CF (See picture. Hmm hard to see. Maybe they need to be painted........GOLD!!). Rendering them now less useful with the dive plains....Maybe we should call it the Gold aero edition ?!

I think the dive plans rank in my top 5 of most useless way of pissing away money.
usually that involves at least tripple the legal promilage, but this time I did it sober.

Manthey pieces are more attractive to my eye. If the benefit is similar, then it'd be a no-brainer for me.

The real game-over is when we see someone rocking tripled Porsche Tequipment flicks...on the street. Might have to start carrying a screaming chicken decal with me for the occasion of that first spotting.

Actually, a faint gold one would be hilarious on Peter's car. Not sure I'd have the stones to rock it (and a mustache), but it would be very funny.
