Bunch of slackers- nobody else noticed the 996 shifter and Cup shift cables?
And that is not the same Clubsport cage that I know? What is the deal here?
Keen eye! The shifter and cables are 996 CUP!
The front cage has had a custom door bar section welded in.
I would say that either Porsche Motorsports could not source the 997.2 front cage in time and used the 997.1 section instead OR with the CUP doors they decided to have something stronger for side impact and thus modified the front half.

LOL...looks like they got the weather stripping for the doors at Home Depot.
It was funny to see this as i also had to use some sort of weather strip for the CUP doors on street body. It is the only way to seal the door to the body.
OK then, if they "removed" about 150 pounds (75 x 2) from the car, forward of the engine, how do they balance it out a little? Considering the 911 is already *** heavy. Thanks.
